Hi, I’m Bryan
I’m a musician, fiction writer, poet, editor, UX designer… person. Essentially, I’m a creative dude with a lot of passions, way too many to list here, so let’s keep it simple. I like words, words that you write, words that you read, words that you put here and put there, and words that you sing, speak, and swear.
Through my studies I’ve gained an extensive proficiency in copyediting, writing, publication production, and graphic design. I have established stellar communication skills while working in content creation teams, and I have improved my writing by collaborating with inspiring, hardworking writers at Monroe Community College and the University of Rochester. I am confident that I can make an immediate impact in any creative role.
Currently, I’m putting together a fancy-dancy UX portfolio where I research and solve a bunch of problems, and I’m learning—mastering—the ins and outs of industry standard programs like Figma and Adobe XD.
My fiction and poetry work has placed first for the Dean’s Prize in Poetry, second for the Langlois Fiction Award, and appears many places including Empty Closet Magazine, eggshells, Sink Hollow, and here on my website.
I’m researching graduate degree programs in English (Creative Writing) and Human Computer Interaction (HCI) or User Experience Design (UXD). In the future I will become a UX writer or designer for Spotify. I will work with other creative thinkers, writers, and artists. I’m excited about the tight-knit community creative people inhabit. I will also publish a novel, publish a poetry collection, and write a television show.
